
Taiwan-based Altek that well-known as the digital camera maker has recently announced its own Android phone called the Altek A14 Leo.
The handset will debut in some emerging markets (Russia and India) and also be arriving in China and Taiwan this month through China Unicom and Chunghwa Telecom (CHT).
The Altek A14 Leo has a 3.2 inch WVGA multi-touch capacitive display, powered by an 800MHz CPU and runs Android 2.1 Éclair OS. What makes this handset interesting is it packs a 14MP autofocus camera with 3x optical zoom and Xenon flash that become first Android handset with these feature.
Other features include an 3.5G, HSDPA, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n or WAPI, and a MicroSD card slot. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing at the moment.
